Mavforensics
Our Story
Thanks to your help last year, the Mavforensics team successfully raised funds to make it to the International Forensics Association Speech and Debate Tournament in Dublin, Ireland where we placed 14th overall and 4th in teams without debate!
Please join us in supporting this amazing team of dedicated students once again!
A donation to Mavforensics is not only an investment in the incredible opportunities this activity can provide, but it’s also support for the students on this team to help us continue the tradition of excellence that has defined Mavforensics for over a decade.
Our students create and craft messages that are performed in a variety of speaking events - some interpretive, some research-based, and others, created with only 90-seconds of preparation time. They brainstorm, outline, research, write, create, memorize, perform, and edit multiple performances throughout the entire academic year, and compete in tournaments from September through April.
Our students also hold jobs, internships, on-campus leadership positions, and their academic interests range from law, medicine, politics, education, mathematics, communication, business, and so much more. These students are participating at the highest level of forensics competition across the state, region, country and we need your help to continue funding travel costs for this growing team.
We strive for Mavforensics to be a place that helps students reach their goals now and beyond their time in this activity. Please help us keep making that happen!
Mavforensics is asking you to donate $20 in celebration of the CFAM 20th Anniversary this year!
HELPING US GET TO NATIONALS....
Our 2025 National Speech Tournament is in Charlotte, NC and we need help with the costs of travel and team registration for this major tournament. Last year, we placed 14th at the AFA-National Speech Tournament!
Each student will have costs associated with airfare, hotel, meals, and tournament registration.
Here is a breakdown of how you can help our Mavs:
*A donation of $20 helps buy one student one dinner
*A donation of $70 helps pay for tournament registration fees for one student
*A donation of $80 would provide a $5 donation to each student on the team
*A donation of $125 covers one student for one night hotel stay
