TWO WAYS TO EARN A DURANGO BUILDING BLOCK SET:

1. Make one gift or multiple gifts totaling $75 or more during Wear Black, Give Back.

  • Donate in one of these three ways: make a gift on this site, return a Wear Black, Give Back contribution card via mail, OR select the giving link in an email you received from Durango.
  • Make your gift(s) by noon on Thursday, Oct. 8.
  • Give yourself a pat on the back for making a difference in the lives of students at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
  • Tell your friends on social media about the awesome Durango building block set you're going to get using the hashtag #WearBlackGiveBack.

2. Sign up to be a “Champion” and get 15 or more donors to your fundraising page.

  • Find any area on the WBGB site that you would like to promote. Click on the “Champion” button and sign up to make your own fundraising page.
  • Send your unique fundraising URL to your friends, family, and pets to make a gift of $5 or more to your area.
  • Congratulations, you are officially champion of that cause! If 15 or more donors make gifts to your champion page, you’ll receive a Durango building block set!

The Durango building block set is a limited-edition collectible featuring UNO’s beloved mascot, Durango. Recommended for ages 6 and up. These sets are only available through Wear Black, Give Back: UNO Giving Day 2026.

How can I get a Durango building block set?

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, all gifts to the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the University of Nebraska Foundation are tax deductible.

Can I order more than one set?

No, you may not purchase additional sets. Building block sets are limited to one per donor or champion.

When will I receive my Durango building block set?

Sets are expected to ship in late October 2026 to the address provided at checkout. You’ll receive your building block set in three to five weeks after the event.
